Introducing the Dual Fuel Inverter generator set from Kompak, powered by a powerful 3.9 kW engine. Kompak generators are in a league of their own when it comes to engine technology and functionality. All Kompak motors are designed, manufactured and tested in the most demanding environments.

The starting system:

Another remarkable feature is the starting current. It has a special peak current of 15.8 amps for just a few milliseconds, allowing your equipment to start without tripping or overloading the generator. This is ideal for motorhomes and caravans, especially when using air conditioning units or similar.

• Starting is easy and can be done using the electric starter with the ignition key or automatically with the ATS.

Fuel :

With an 8.8 litre fuel tank, this unit can run for up to 9 hours on petrol and 16 hours on gas (based on a 19 kg cylinder).

The petrol used must be SP95 or SP98.

Using gas:

The advantages of using gas:

• The biggest attraction of gas is the lower running costs (bottled gas is around 30% - 50% cheaper to use at the moment than petrol, the bigger the bottle, the cheaper the gas becomes). As petrol becomes more expensive, it becomes an even more attractive offer.

• You have greater flexibility in terms of extending running time, simply use a larger cylinder if you need longer running time; you are no longer limited by the internal fuel tank.

• Cleaner emissions allow use in situations where petrol isn't appropriate, such as around food or on sites that prohibit petrol due to fire hazards.

• There are no storage problems either, unlike petrol, which deteriorates and has a very strong odour.

• Minimal risk of fuel spillage, as the fuel is not 'loose' / fluid, there is also less risk of theft of the fuel source.

• Lower maintenance costs thanks to cleaner operation; petrol degrades over time and can block the carburettor or hinder its operation.
  Gas doesn't have this problem because the gas is sealed, so there's no chance of degradation. This extends the life of the spark plug and generator components.

• Much easier to refuel, just connect a new cylinder. With more and more places, especially campsites, banning the use of petrol and diesel, we think the demand for LPG generators will only increase in the future.

Getting started:

• Simply fill up with petrol (unleaded 95 or 98) and standard 4-stroke engine oil
• Make sure you fill up with enough oil, as the engine is equipped with a safety device, and an oil level that is too low will prevent it from starting
• Check that the battery is properly connected and start the engine by turning the starter button ON
