The ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) unit automatically starts the generator and transfers the load to it when the main power supply is disconnected.

Diesel and petrol generators with electric starters are fitted with a universal 6-pin connector for an Automatic Transfer Switch unit (ATS input).

The ATS unit has a PLC that can be used to program the automatic start/stop of the generator in the event of a power failure and after it has been restored.
